Treat yourself to a 3-day, 32 mile float through a wild roadless canyon on the Deschutes River. Hosted by Lauren Kingsley, owner of The Painted Trout, you’ll be guided and rowed by Water Time Outfitters, one of the most experienced services on the river. Meals and camp (14’ wall tents) will be waiting for you as you fish and float to pre-determined dining & camping spots. Experience some of the most historic and coveted steelhead water in the US. Expert guides can help you with casting, rigging, fly selection and more. Swing wet and DRY flies to steelhead ranging from 5 to 20 pounds (averaging 6 to 8). Bring binoculars to view otter, mink, wild ponies, hawks, golden eagles, osprey or mule deer.

A mecca for flats fly fishing, this location offers tarpon, permit, bonefish, baracuda, jacks, snapper and snook. Ambergris Cay is also a favorite destination for scuba diving and snorkeling. Golf carts, kayaks, stand up paddleboards and bicycles are available to borrow to go out and explore the island. Lovely double occupancy rooms opens to a deck overlooking the private beach. This 3-day float takes us into the wilds of the Deschutes River where fishing is at its best. Remote sections of river, wild trout, and big rapids make this water among the most beautiful with the best dry fly action in the world. Luxurious water-side camps feature large 14'x14' canvas tents (with cots & pads), gourmet meals, relaxing by the campfire, great camaraderie, fish tales and more. The staff floats ahead to the designated camp site and prepares your lodging as well as setting up an extensive kitchen.
